Fl Studio - Music Production Software

FL Studio is a digital audio workstation (DAW) from Belgian company Image-Line. This electronic software is used in recording, editing, and playing digital audio such as some of the EDM tracks on this site. The software is known to be used by artists such as Afrojack, Avicii, Madeon, Skream, as well as many producers from hip-hop and other genres. The graphical user interface (see picture below) is based on a music sequencer and offers a myriad of functions. It is complex software, but once the user becomes familiar with the interface it opens up endless options for editing and composing tracks.

FL Studio software has been around since 1997 and continues to be updated and improved. The latest version (10.0.0) was released in March of 2011 and included a number of improvements. Updates to the software also come free for life after purchasing the software.
